The association ‘The Science & Art House Farm’ was founded in 2019 inspired by an idea of Leopoldo Zelante, medical geneticist, who lived in San Giovanni Rotondo and was engaged for about forty years in the study of rare diseases. In his career, he distinguished himself for many achievements in the clinic and in research but above all he worked to fully understand how the medical geneticist could take charge of the sick subject and his family, with the aim of inserting the child with congenital defects into normality.

The association, fully inspired by his figure, brings together different personalities involved in various fields of Art and Science and aims to carry out events, meetings, galleries, talks, festivals, readings, laboratories, workshops, in order to to find new and unexplored channels of communication.

In our farmhouse in Solomeo, people fully involved in the scientific field such as doctors, physicists, mathematicians, astronomers, or immersed in various artistic fields such as poetry, music, painting, sculpture, acting are working towards the fusion of Art and Science. From their fusion, new means of communication are constantly born that are able to put these two forms of thought in harmony at the service of all..
